  • Discontinued wildlife monitoring by full time biologist to support seasonal changes as per Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) Fish and Wildlife Division and AER approved plans. Wildlife observations continue to be tracked
  • Continued maintenance of wildlife fencing and deterrents
  • Continue to move visual deterrents to prevent habituation
  • Continued fluid recovery from bell holes and recovery trench
  • Continued field screening for EC, chlorides and visual sheen
  • Continued priority water sampling of Unnamed Lake and surrounding area
  • Collected subsurface water samples from all drive point wells
  • Continued work to confirm waste management and remediation plans
  • Continued execution and waste management activities for removal of bitumen at the spill site, including off-site disposal
  • Continue maintenance of containment cells for bitumen removal
  • Continued construction activities for removal of damaged section of pipe in support of root cause analysis investigation
